Printing Unlimited Gives Back

Donated Print Materials

We can make the biggest impact in supporting non-profit organizations by sponsoring their print needs. This benefits the organizations in aiding their efforts to build community awareness and stakeholder investment.

Marketing Materials, Clothing, & Financial Assistance

For the local athletes we sponsor, our giving back includes marketing materials, clothing, and financial assistance to travel. We are proud of Fort McMurray and our contribution is our way of cheering them on from back home.

Financial Donations

As part of our support for Apple Schools Wood Buffalo, we provide financial donations. This worthwhile cause supports healthy kids in healthy schools.

Volunteered Participation

Our sponsorship includes active participation in the events we sponsor so our team can learn about each organization and how they provide support in Fort McMurray; further strengthening community connections.

Spotlight on Fort McMurray Causes

Printing Unlimited is a proud community sponsor for many local athletes, and a committed partner with several non-profit organizations:

Local HERO Foundation

Established in 1991, Local HERO Foundation provides 24/7 emergency helicopter services to residents of Northeastern Alberta. Its skilled pilots and crew members assist in dispatching emergency personnel for search & rescue, medical emergencies, environmental damage, and law enforcement. This worthwhile organization is a significant contributor to the safety and wellbeing of the community in Fort McMurray.

Printing Unlimited gives back to Local HERO through contributions of print materials to help spread the word about its cause and encourage donations so that its program can continue to have an impact.

Girls Inc. of Northern Alberta

With the tagline, “Inspiring Girls to be Strong, Smart, and Bold,” Girls Inc. of Northern Alberta actively pursues its mission with a variety of programs to build skills and confidence in young women in the Fort McMurray and surrounding communities. In 2020, 1,575 girls participated in programs by Girls Inc., including 11 different programs and 4 workshops. Programs include a healthy living curriculum that encourages girls to view their bodies more positively, and life skills-building programs for confidence, goal-setting, and leading productive lives.

Printing Unlimited gives back to Girls Inc. of Northern Alberta through contributions of print materials to help spread the word about its cause and encourage donations so that these programs can continue to be sustained and grow.

Fort McMurray SPCA

A well-known and much-needed cause in every community, the Fort McMurray SPCA played a particularly important role in our community during the fires of 2016. Over 88,000 residents were evacuated, with many forced to make the difficult decision to leave their pets behind. In support of the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo Bylaw Services Animal Control, the Fort McMurray SPCA assisted in an emergency pet rescue operation. The Fort McMurray SPCA continues to play a vital role in the wellbeing of animals’ lives, providing shelter, food bank services, and adoption, as well as community wellness, with its Book Buddies and Cat Yoga programs.

Printing Unlimited gives back to the Fort McMurray SPCA through contributions of print materials. This collaboration benefits the SPCA by aiding their efforts to promote the organization and bring awareness to its programs, as well as encourage donations and support.
